The 2004-05 Portland Trail Blazers - Rose Garden Arena
Even after six years as the flooring contractors for the Portland Trail Blazers, Courtsports had there challenges. The Blazers didn't want to sand the floor down to the bare wood, but wanted to remove graphics on the side court and change both endline graphics. The side court graphics were relatively new (painted two season ago) and consisted of a small basketball with fire wings. The logo was in front of the home teams bench. Because this floor is a removable floor the four panels that the logo was painted on were removed and new blank panels were installed. Since painted areas are slightly (a few millimeters) raised Courtsports had to sand the two endline "BLAZER" logos off the floor, seal, and then repainted the border black. After the black paint dried the new "TRAIL BLAZER" logos were painted. Additionally, all the game lines, center court logo, and keys were also repainted, and the entire court was then coated with three coats of Hillyard 450 Gym Finish.
